Getting started

Unique Student Identifier (USI): You’ll need a USI to receive your qualification or Statement of Attainment.

RIW not required: Trojan Training does not manage or require RIW (Rail Industry Worker) cards for our programs.

Privacy & consent

We manage your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. See our Privacy Policy for details.

By enrolling with Trojan Training, you consent to the collection and use of your information for training, assessment and compliance purposes. You can request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time.

Learner support & reasonable adjustment

We provide Language, Literacy, Numeracy & Digital (LLND) screening and reasonable adjustments where appropriate to support successful outcomes, consistent with the Standards for RTOs (Clause 1.7).

What is accredited training?

Training that leads to a nationally recognised qualification or Statement of Attainment, issued by Challenger Training (RTO 91830).

What is non-accredited training?

Inductions, VOCs, and compliance services. Valuable for employers but not nationally recognised.

What is a USI?

A Unique Student Identifier required for all accredited training. usi.gov.au.

Recognition of Prior Learning, using workplace evidence to credit skills.

What is Credit Transfer?

Credit given for the same unit completed with another RTO.

What is a rail medical?

A health check for rail safety workers. Category 1 = drivers, Category 3 = yard/corridor staff. Employers arrange this.
